Il giardino libernautico. Workshop. 07 – 14 – 21.07.2022
As part of the exhibition “Il giardino libernautico”, Fondazione Baruchello presents the Workshop for children aged 5 to 7. On three days (July 7,14,21), Fondazione Baruchello’s headquarters at 35, Via del Vascello opens its doors to the little ones by organizing a creative workshop designed for children, who are invited to discover and investigate aspects related to the world of contemporary art and in particular to the works of the artists in the exhibition. The workshop revolves around the themes of nature and the world around us, developed through the exercise of imagination, the stimulation of dialogue and group work.
The first meeting, taking its cue from the work of the artistic duo Grossi Maglioni, involves an activity that educates participants to take care of a plant by following its life cycle. The second meeting, is aimed at exploring the spaces of Fondazione through a creative exercise that leads to the creation of imaginary maps as in Jacopo Natoli’s work. Finally, the last meeting has as its goal the creation of an object by the children, as to discover the importance of manual labor in relating to the world, as emphasized by Sara Basta’s work. Looking at the work of John Cascone, in each meeting storytelling and story creation acts as a common thread throughout the workshop. Laura Carini and Mattia Dei lead the workshops
